The Comic:

A mix of High and Low Fantasy, Deck of Fools chronicles the desperate attempts of a Jester to resurrect the Gods and save his world from destruction.

The Author:

Hi! My name is Emily. You can call me The Demonic Comic, or TDC if you don't want to type it all out. I'm a full time university student working on my BFA, so that's why I miss so many updates (which I'm really sorry about by the way). My writing skills are significantly poorer than my drawing skills, but I'm working on it.

I tend to lean towards the over dramatic at times. My characters may, on occasion, froth and rage and chew the scenery, but I don't mean for you to take it seriously. Most of my work is very tongue-in-cheek; laugh if you want or scoff and turn away. I don't mind, I'm pretty easygoing about that sort of thing.

I'm making this comic for me, and if you enjoy it too? Well, that makes me happy. So I do hope you stick around, it's going to be quite a show.

Q: Does this comic have a schedule?

A: Yes, in fact it does. I attempt to update every Thursday, though sometimes my schoolwork must take precedence and I miss an update. I don't do make up days, it's either Thursday or nothing. If there isn't a page come Thursday morning then there won't be one until next week at the earliest.

Q: You've missed three updates in a row!

A: Indeed I have, sorry about that. I haven't forgotten, I'm simply very busy.

Q: Why do your colours look so weird?

A: Well, you see, I'm partially colourblind. Making things in colour takes a lot of work, and even then I'm not sure if they're correct. I do use photo references to try and get the colours, but sometimes it dosn't always fit together quite right.

Q: Your website looks like crap. When are you going to make it pretty?

A: I only know basic html, I'm learning more but it's a slow process. Be thankful that I haven't filled it with frames and blinking graphics like my original teacher taught me to.

Q: Where is the Forum?

A: The Forum does not exist yet. It will continue to not exist until I have at least twenty updates, as per Comic Genesis rules.

Q: What is the Blog for?

A: The Blog is for me to post about updates and topics related to the comic. It is also the only way at present for you to contact me.

Q: How can I contact you?

A: You can contact me by leaving a post on the most recent blog entry. Don't leave one any further back than that as I don't usually go back and check the old ones.

Q: I don't understand what is going on, can you make it clearer?

A: Patience my child, it has only just begun...

Though if you really are having a hard time following the plot please tell me. Chances are if enough people can't follow then I've got a problem I have to fix.
